Welcome to the RITP Certification Cohort: 6-Month Roadmap
Welcome to the Reflex Integration Through Play (RITP) Certification Cohort. RITP is a treatment planning and implementation method based on developmental milestones, primary motor reflex patterns, and primal movement patterns, using a play-based approach that is fun and easy to implement.
Throughout this cohort, participants will:
1 – Complete the Five Pillar Courses
2 – Develop and Refine a Treatment Plan
3 – Gain Hands-on Experience with Implementation.
By the end of six months, each participant will be ready for certification, having completed at least six weeks of structured treatment planning and implementation.
To obtain your certification within 6 months, we suggest completing all course material in the first 3 months. The remaining time can then be focused on implementation and refinement.
Month 1: Subject Selection & Course Foundations
- Course Focus: Pillar 1 – Primitive Reflex Integration & Child Development
- Key Learnings: Understanding reflexes, their role in development, and the foundation of RITP
- Tasks
- Select a subject (client for your case study) for the treatment plan
- Complete the Pillar 1 self-paced course, quizzes on reflex integration basics and brain development
- Hands-on Task: Identify and analyze reflexes in a case study
- Attend a Live Session
Month 2: Anatomy, Movement & Baseline Assessment
- Course Focus: Pillar 2 – Anatomy & Movement Patterns & Pillar 3 – Clinical Observation & Screening
- Key Learnings: Understanding movement, muscle functions, and how reflexes impact motor skills
- Tasks
- Conduct a baseline assessment for the selected subject
- Complete the Pillar 2 & 3 self-paced courses and quizzes. Bring in your findings and get support from the team (case study)
- Hands-on Task: Conduct a reflex pattern and functional movement pattern screening using the treatment plan and screening template
- Attend a Live Session
Month 3: Screening, Treatment Planning & Readiness for Implementation
- Course Focus: Pillar 4 – Treatment Planning & Pillar 5 – Home & School Development
- Key Learnings: Continue with assessment and screening, create treatment plans using the treatment planning forms, and begin implementation. Structure sessions, track progress, and adapt plans for home & school.
- Tasks
- Complete the Pillar 4 Training and Quizzes. Develop a treatment plan based on baseline assessments. Begin treatment plan implementation
- Update your treatment plan with a completed screening form and draft treatment plan.
- Hands-on Task: Refine the treatment plan based on feedback.
- Attend a Live Session
Month 4: Implementation & Problem-Solving
- Course Focus: Finish up or review your courses as needed
- Key Learnings: Structuring sessions, tracking progress, and adapting plans for home & school
- Tasks
- Continue treatment plan implementation
- Update your treatment plan with adjustments based on feedback
- Hands-on Task: Implement similar strategies with your other cases and practice using the same methods to create treatment plans
- Attend a Live Session: Refining treatment strategies & troubleshooting common challenges
Month 5: Home, School, & Progress Analysis
- Course Focus: Review Pillar 5 if necessary on Home & School Development
- Key Learnings: Collaboration with parents, educators, and therapists for carryover
- Tasks
- Monitor and track treatment outcomes
- Update your case study/progress report and date it, including reflections

- Attend a Live Session: Join the RITP Pro Call, which focuses on school programs for additional support
Month 6: Final Assessment & Certification
- Key Learnings: Finalizing treatment plans, evaluating client outcomes, and presenting findings
- Tasks
- Conduct a final assessment and evaluate client progress
- Submit your final treatment plan & short summary report
- Hands-on Task: Schedule your final 1-on-1, 30-minute call to present your case study, covering screening, treatment planning, implementation, and results, to receive your certification
- Attend a Live Session
